Frequently Asked Questions

SellBotAI uses your eBay account to sign you in and connect the store where you will publish your listings. You enter your password on eBay's own site; SellBotAI never receives or stores it. eBay provides authorization tokens, which SellBotAI stores encrypted. Connecting does not publish a listing: you review your draft and choose when to publish. You can revoke SellBotAI's authorization through eBay's Third-party app access settings.

SellBotAI creates a working title from your photos, asks eBay for category suggestions, and initially selects the top suggestion. Always review the complete category path before publishing. If a suitable category cannot be determined, SellBotAI uses Everything Else > Every Other Thing and displays a warning so you can choose a more specific category.

Yes. You can edit the generated title, condition, product identifiers, item specifics, and description before publishing. Choose the correct category first, because category regeneration replaces the AI-generated fields. Your price, package information, policies, and other seller-controlled settings are entered or reviewed separately.

SellBotAI currently accepts JPEG and JPG images. Use sharp, well-lit photos that show the complete item, important labels and identifiers, measurements, included parts, and any condition issues. The upload page enforces the current file-size and photo-count limits for your plan.

No. After you select a different category, SellBotAI can regenerate the category-dependent listing data from the original AI source photos using the same Standard or Premium model without consuming another listing credit. Review the category before manually polishing generated fields, because regeneration replaces those fields.

Yes. SellBotAI retains the original source photos used for generation separately from the editable eBay Listing Images set. You can remove AI-only reference images, add buyer-facing photos, and reorder the final set before publishing. Photos added after generation are not analyzed automatically.

Not currently. SellBotAI requires you to enter the price because current market value depends on sold comparables, condition, competition, shipping costs, fees, and your selling strategy. SellBotAI is exploring AI pricing suggestions, but accuracy is more important than releasing that feature prematurely.

No. Calculate Fees validates the draft with eBay and displays applicable fees or listing errors, but it does not create a live eBay listing. The listing is published only when you deliberately select Publish Item and the request succeeds.

If your plan includes batch listing, add a separate upload slot for each item on Create Listing. Every populated slot keeps its own photos and optional Listing Hint, uses the shared AI model selection, and becomes a separate draft. Empty slots are skipped, and every populated item counts as its own listing generation.

A failure does not discard the successful items. Completed items remain available as active drafts, while the unsuccessful item is marked with an error so you can identify and recreate it. Any introductory or Premium listing credit consumed by the failed item is restored.

Premium uses SellBotAI's higher-capability model and consumes a Premium listing credit, making it useful for uncommon, technical, collectible, or detail-heavy items. Standard uses the standard model without consuming a Premium credit. Introductory free listings are generated with Premium AI automatically.
