How to Create Multiple eBay Listings at Once with SellBotAI

Organize separate photo sets, generate multiple eBay drafts in one batch, and review each listing before publishing.

Batch listing lets you turn several separate item photo sets into several separate eBay drafts without generating each one individually.

Each item keeps its own photos and optional Listing Hint, but the entire batch uses one shared AI model selection. When generation finishes, the successful items appear as individual drafts so you can review, price, and publish them one at a time.

Batch generation creates drafts—it does not publish listings. You remain in control of the category, generated details, price, shipping information, business policies, and final eBay photo set for every item.
Before You Begin

Before building the batch, make sure:

Keep the photos for each item grouped together on your device. Good organization is the easiest way to avoid putting an item’s photos or notes in the wrong listing slot.

Step 1 Open Create Listing

Open Create Listing from the SellBotAI navigation. The page begins with one upload area labeled Listing 1.

There is no separate batch-mode switch. One populated upload area creates one listing. When you add and populate more than one upload area, SellBotAI automatically treats the request as a batch.

Do not see the Add Listing controls? Batch listing is available only on plans that include it. If the controls are not displayed, you can still generate one listing at a time from the same page.

Step 2 Add One Slot for Each Item

Use the controls beneath the first upload area to choose how many listings to add, then select Add Listing. The page creates a separate numbered slot for each item, up to the batch limit allowed by your plan.

For example, a five-item batch should have five slots labeled Listing 1 through Listing 5.

How the Slots Behave
  • Each populated slot becomes one separate SellBotAI draft.
  • Each slot has its own photo set and, when available, its own Listing Hint.
  • Empty slots are skipped when you generate the batch.
  • Use the trash button to remove an unnecessary slot.
  • After a slot is removed, the remaining slots are renumbered automatically.

Never combine photos of different items in the same slot unless those items are being sold together as one lot. SellBotAI treats every photo in a slot as evidence about the same listing.

Step 3 Upload the Correct Photos to Each Slot

Drag each item’s JPEG photos into its corresponding slot, or use browse files to choose them from your device. The page keeps the photo sets separate throughout generation.

Give each item enough visual evidence for SellBotAI to identify it and describe it accurately:

  • A strong overall photo of the complete item
  • Additional angles and important physical details
  • Brand, model, size, material, care, or manufacturer labels
  • Clear barcodes, UPCs, ISBNs, or model numbers
  • Measurements, included accessories, and visible condition issues

See Photo Best Practices for eBay and SellBotAI for detailed guidance on lighting, labels, identifiers, measurements, flaws, and AI-only reference images.

Wait for every upload to finish. SellBotAI will not begin generation while one or more photos are still uploading. Check every slot before selecting Generate.

Step 4 Add Item-Specific Listing Hints

If Listing Hints are included with your plan, each batch slot displays its own optional hint field. Use it for a short factual detail that the photos cannot communicate clearly.

Useful Hints
  • Signed by the author
  • Includes the original charger
  • Waist measures 32 inches
  • Powers on, but battery does not hold a charge
Avoid
  • Instructions to invent missing facts
  • Unverified claims about authenticity
  • Long marketing copy
  • Notes that belong to a different batch item

Hints are limited in length, so prioritize the single fact most likely to improve the generated listing. Leave the field empty when the photos already tell the complete story.

Step 5 Choose the AI Model for the Batch

The AI Model menu appears once beneath the batch. Your selection applies to every populated item in that generation request.

Premium

Uses SellBotAI’s higher-capability model. A Premium batch requires enough introductory or Premium listing credits for every populated slot.

Standard

Uses the standard model without consuming your Premium listing credits. If Premium is not currently available, SellBotAI selects Standard for you.

Count populated slots, not upload areas. Every populated slot is a separate listing generation. Empty slots are skipped and do not count toward the batch.

Step 6 Run a Final Batch Check and Generate

Before selecting Generate, review the page from top to bottom:

  • Every item occupies its own slot.
  • Every photo belongs to the correct item.
  • All photo uploads have finished.
  • Each Listing Hint describes only the item in that slot.
  • The shared Standard or Premium model is the one you intend to use.
  • You have enough generations for all populated slots.

Select Generate when the batch is ready. SellBotAI creates a separate placeholder draft for every item, then analyzes the items in parallel.

Keep the page open during generation. A batch may take up to about 60 seconds. Do not close the tab while SellBotAI is analyzing the listings.

Step 7 Find the Results in Drafts

When processing finishes, SellBotAI takes you to Drafts. Every successful batch item appears as its own active draft rather than as one combined record.

You can open, edit, save, or delete each result independently. Changes made to one draft do not affect the other items from the batch.

If One Item Fails

A problem with one item does not discard the entire batch. Successful items remain available as active drafts, while the unsuccessful item is marked with an error so you can identify it.

Any introductory or Premium listing credit consumed by the failed item is restored. Review the item’s photos and information, then create it again after correcting the likely cause.

Step 8 Review and Publish Each Listing

Batch generation speeds up the first part of listing creation, but every draft still needs an individual seller review.

Open each draft and verify:

  • The eBay category and condition
  • The title, product identifiers, item specifics, and description
  • The final buyer-facing photo set and photo order
  • Your selling price and Best Offer settings
  • The packed package dimensions and weight
  • Your payment, return, and shipping policies
  • Any warnings or errors returned by eBay

Use Calculate Fees to validate the listing and preview eBay’s applicable fees before publishing. Then choose Publish Item only when that individual draft is complete.

Batch complete. You have used one organized generation request to create multiple independent drafts while preserving the opportunity to review every listing before it reaches eBay.
